I will be holding a tournament series from January to the end of March. The tournaments will be held online twice a week on Sundays and Tuesdays and there will be 20 tournaments total. The buy ins are yet to be determined but they will be no more than $10. There will be a leader board system and the top leaders (top 10%?) will qualify for the freeroll at the end of the season. This is all dependent on how many people are interested and registered. The freeroll will be cash prize(s) that will be equal to at least one main event satellite for the Heartland Poker Tour Colorado event in April 2008. Prizes and official rules will be announced when the tournament schedule is released after the Christmas holiday.

The Heartland Poker Tour recently announced that they would be returning to Colorado twice in 2008. Last year there were small buy in satellites that would win you entry to the $340 main event qualifier. People had small buy in tournament where the 1st place winner ended up winning an amount equal to the main event qualifier buy in. This year I’ve decided to give Colorado players another way to get their buy in for the April 2008 Colorado Heartland Poker Tour event. In the end it will be up to you what you do with the cash prize but I hope you will use it to enter the tournament. I will have the details finalized at the first of the year, but I wanted to do a pre-announcement to gauge the interest here because it will be a lot of work.
