Full Tilt Poker experienced some downtime last weeks and partially this week. Some are saying that this has been due to DDOS attack and Full Tilt has said it’s been due to server and client upgrades. Whatever the reason people have been pretty frustrated with the down time. Full Tilt has offered some players money and bonuses. From what I’ve seen the free money has ranged from $20-$25 while the bonus has ranged from $100-$300. Pretty lame if you ask me, but at least it appears they are making an attempt to apologize. I say it’s lame because some people have 10 days to clear the bonus and others have claimed to have 30 days. Where’s the consistency?

FTP Apology for Server Downtime
I’ve been pretty dedicated to PokerStars for the past 2 or 3 years and I’ve never experienced any problems. I started out playing on Full Tilt but have bounced around to PokerStars and other small rooms. If I experience connection problems with one of the smaller rooms it’s a pretty safe bet I won’t be playing there long. It surprises me that a big name site like Full Tilt has taken so long to correct the problem. I’ve read a lot of stuff from some pretty frustrated people. I’ve also heard reports about customer support taking a long time to respond. Of course this is all hear say but I’ll find out for myself in the upcoming month as I plan on playing a lot of the BBT3 events. I hope my new experiences with FTP will be just as good as when I first started. After all they were the first site that opened my eyes to online poker almost 5 years ago.
