Things have been really slow on the poker side of life lately. Some of that has to do with being burnt out and just getting bored with the game. Another part of the story is that I am working on two other projects right now that have been my primary focus. I find that when I do play I’m not thinking things through completely and generally playing like crap. I don’t have that fire in my belly right now in cards so I’ll be taking a break from playing any serious sessions or tournaments. I’ll probably donk it up drunk style at some bar poker tournaments while on my short sabbatical.

The postings of my personal poker play will be limited in the next couple months but I’ll still try to provide some worth while content. Hopefully I can find some time to get back to posting BBT3 weekly summaries. Anyone using the BBT3 tracking sheet I created?

Don’t forget to leave a comment on my previous post to get a FREE copy of both volumes of Harrington on Cash Games. There’s a little over week left to get your entries in. So far only 6 people have entered so you have a good chance to win. Read the post and enter now.

In other news, I’ve upgraded to Wordpress 2.5 and I really like it. With the upgrade I’ve also changed the theme I was using so check out the sites new look and let me know what you think. I’m still having some problems with images missing from older posts. After the upgrade some upload directories are missing. I haven’t found the problem yet and it looks like the images may be lost forever because I’m a jackass and didn’t back up the site before the upgrade. Along with the other two projects I’m working on, I’m also designing a custom theme for this site. I can’t wait as it looks really cool, but I don’t know much about coding so I don’t when I’ll be finished with it.

*Wordpress 2.5.1 released and addresses over 70 bug fixes*

Here’s some links to get you through the weekend.

You might find me donking it up at one of these Colorado Bar Poker Tours
