Yesterday was kind of a slow day at work so I created a spreadsheet to track my BBT3 stats. It needs a few more formulas entered but I’m not sure how to get the results I want. If anyone has some Excel skills out there I’d appreciate your input. There is a section for tracking basic stats, ROI, ITM, Cost, Profit, number of tournaments played, final tables made, in the points. And yes, I did go a little crazy with the colors. I was bored. There is a tracking area for the tournament name, buy-in, date, number of entrants, points, ect. Lastly, there is another sheet (taken from PokerStars) for you to calculate the number of points you will earn given your finish.

*UPDATE: All formulas are now input. The links above are current and updated to reflect these changes. A special thanks go out to actyper*

Calculations and formulas that need to be input are:

  • ITM - Have no idea calculate this or configure it using this spreadsheet
  • Number of tournaments played - Seems like it should be a simple IF formula based on the buy-in. Something like IF(buy-in)>$0 then +1?
  • Final Tables Made - Another IF formula?
  • In the points - Once again, another IF formula?

Catching on to a common theme here? I have no idea how IF formulas work here. Here’s a screen shot of the Stats area.

I always have to check back what time a tournament starts and what the buy-in is. I created a basic schedule and noted that buy-in’s may vary due to Double Stack and Knock Out tournaments. I wasn’t sure when the blogger big game was exactly so those will need to be added to the tracking area. I was planning on doing this as they came up.

BBT3 Schedule

The tracking area is divided into weeks by color.

I may add a column to track your place on the leader board from week to week but I don’t know how useful that will be. I’ve been tracking my BBT3 results separate from my normal game play. My roll on Full Tilt is so small though that it’s almost completely dedicated to this tournament series. I hope you find this useful and if you know how to get the results formulas I would appreciate your input. Enjoy!
