Things are starting to get back to normal and despite my brief absence the site continues to grow. I found this surprising with only 3 posts in May, but traffic and subscribers have been consistent. I’ve been experimenting with new monetization methods and May showed some promise using them. Poker has taken a back seat in my life right now and I’m ok with that. I won’t be playing much but I’ve decided that when I do play I’m going to play the games I really enjoy. That consists of mostly Stud and Stud 8. GOD are the players so bad at this game!My new approach is make poker fun again, get it back to a hobby and not such a grind. I’ve gained a renewed view on things. I mentioned in another post about how life just really seemed to be kicking me in the ass, but the reality was that I am kicking myself in the ass. I outlined some of the goals I’ve had this year and truth be told, I haven’t done anything about it. All that is going to change. Even though I’ll be playing less I’ll still be devoting time to making this blog better, working on projects (more on that later), and studying “the game”.
Thanks for sticking around while I was going through this hard time. I’m happy to report that my family is doing well and everyone is out of the hospital.
